The Jakarta Tango Club was formed out of dedication and commitment by people who are enamored by the dance. They are a special group of people dedicated to the art and advancement of this passionate art form from the dance to its music and history.

The formation of  the club comes at an opportune time when tango is fast growing in Asia. It aims to provide its members with knowledge and information through workshops, forums, shows, concerts, recitals and soirees about tango.

It also aims to provide equal opportunities to everyone who wish to lend their support in whatever capacity they can, to give tango the much needed exposure and promotion it deserves.

The birth of the Jakarta Tango Club is a significant milestone in Indonesia’s dancing HISTORY as it joins the other tango clubs in the region for the continued promotion of tango in our sphere.
